Reminiscence Of the past few days:)

Dear Pink Bloggie

On Monday(7/12/2009), I met up with Jean, Brenda and Xiao Hua for the pre-prom preparation:) I was the first to reach Jean's house. I watched part of You are beautiful in Jean's house:) I must say this Korean Drama is very nice:):) Think I will follow it when I have the free time:)

I have finally seen Xiao Hua:) She's finally back from Brisbane:) Asked her a lot of questions regarding UQ:) I'm so happy because we are starting the next semster together:) Xiao Hua han't changed so much. Somehow, I just feel that her chin has become sharper. We ordered pizza for our lunch. I have finally satisfied another craving of mine:) I suddenly felt that pizza are so yummy. Perhaps, I have not been eating pizza for quite a long time.

Brenda is always late. She's the last person to reach Jean's house. When she has finally reached, Jean and Brenda started changing into their prom dresses:) After that, we headed down to STAGE at Suntec for their make-up:) I really liked make ups that are being done for them:) Smoky eyes look so gorgeous on the both of them:) How I wished I could go for another prom???
I skipped the post-prom because I still have a long day on Tuesday(8/12/2009).

On Tuesday(8/12/2009), I woke up late. My Guzheng friends were all waiting for me when I reached Bugis. I really felt apologetic for being late. We were supposed to reach Topone at 11am but it was already 12.00pm when we reached Topone KTV:) I think Topone KTV is just so much better than K-box:) The atmosphere is higher than singing at K-BOx:) There are smoke, stage lightings for us to play with:) It's like having our own mini concert:) It's even touchscreen!!!:) How cool!!!:) The price is very reasonable too:) $18 per person and sing fron 11.00am to 6.00pm.

Cindy can sing very well:) She knows almost every song from Chinese to Korean to English:) It feels good to sing with Cindy:) I sang SUPER GIRL, Sorry Sorry, Gee and some other chinese songs. Haha, I am feeling freaking high that day:) After our high hours, Jenny, Me, Cindy, Xiao Wei and Wei Long met up with Jasmine and Kai Lynn to have our steamboat. I think I ate a lot during steam boat because I am feeling damn hungry as I have skipped my lunch. I should not h
ave skipped my lunch. Think it can be unhealthy. We gossiped and chatted throughout the whole dinner:) I was just having too much fun!!!:) Then, we went to a dessert shop to have our desserts. I was feling damn high from 12.00pm to 10.00pm:) All thanks to my wonderful friends:) Love you people lots!!!:):) To all my JC girlfriends: Let's go TOPONE KTV one day okay???:):)

On Thursday, I met up with Crystal to catch up with her:) She is now in FASS at NUS:) The courses that she took is like damn cool:) Japanese Studies and many other cool modules:) So envious:):) We shopped and chatted along the way:) We ate at SEAFOOD HARVEST;) The baked rice that I ordered tasted really good:) I am so elated to see her again after so long:) Think the next time we shall meet is like when I will come back from Brisbane???:) I think I'm gonna miss a lot of my friends when I head to Brisbane next year:)

Fun Day:)

Dear Pink BloggieFriday has been one of my most memorable day:):) Yeah! I finally met up with my girlfriends after so long:) I miss Brenda a lot:) Finally get to see her:) Met up with Brenda at 11.15 to do our nails:):) The same place that we went to last year:) As we were afraid of being late, we cabbed down to Blk 163 at Taman Jurong. When we reached there, the manucurist started on our nails immediately. She did my nails first followed by Brenda:) I think my nails look so much better than the last time I did it:) It's more sparkling and more pinkish:):) Totally love them so much:) Brenda did pop up art for her nails:) I must say the manucurists is very experienced when it comes to drawing 3D shapes:) I must say Brenda's nails look damn gorgeous:):)
After doing our nails, we head to 313 at Somerset:) I heard from Brenda that it is a new shopping centre. But I think it looks like a typical shopping mall in Singapore. Very common retail outlets can be found there. Luckily, there was Din Tai Fung-my long time favourite. Brenda says she has the craving for it so we had our late lunch at Din Tai Fung after Jean reached 313:) I'm just so happy to see Jean:) I miss her a lot;) We were definitely enjoying our late lunch:):)
Then, the 3 of us met up with Karen at ION:) Haha, another favourite place to hang out:) Missed Karen too:) I finally get the chance to meet her:) Yeah, I finally bought my ice-cream from Marvellous Cream. Guess what??? Theh girl who's preparing my Strawberry banana blend is actually my ex-schoolmate Rachael:) She was so kind to give me a free waffle bowl to go with my ice-cream:):) I must say ice-cream sold at Marvellous Cream tasted smooth and yummy:):) I have finally satisfied one of my cravings:) We walked around ION and finally reached the Christmas Tree. Apparently, I was enjoying my ice-cream so much that I can't be bothered to take photos with my girlfriends. Oops! We strolled down Orchard Street trying to take as much pictures as we can:)
Karen has been crazying over this Boost Drink. To satisfy her cravings, we decided to head to PS to search for the boost drink. Apparently, we didn't find it. So we gave up and headed to City Hall to have Karen's late dinner:) Before that, I finally managed to buy my SJ-M album:) I have been yearning to buy it for a long time:):) It's the last piece being sold at HMV:) I think I'm just fortunate to own it:) After buying my album, we decided to settle down at a dining place at City Link. I can't remember the name of the restaurant. Karen ate her dinner while we laughed and chatted:)
Then, we headed down to Esplanade to enjoy the night scene by the river. Obviously, I was too engrossed in watching Korean pop videos from Jean's ipod that I didn't even know it was already 11pm. At 11pm, we all headed home:) We took bus 502 but on the way home, the driver was too reckless. Totally can't stand it! Still, I had the most memorable day:) Thanks for my friends who helped me create these memorable memories:)

Happy Shopping

Dear Pink Bloggie

Yesterday, Mum and I went shopping at Orchard:) I had fun shopping for new winter clothes since I will be spending both the Summer and Winter in Brisbane:) We spent 2 hours at Zara Outlet, the one near Wheelock Place:) I must say Zara does feature lots of nice and beautiful winter wear. After trying out tons of Zara Winter wear, mum bought for me a long sleeve and woolen wear. I just don't understand why we can spend like 2 hours in Zara???? Perhaps, there were just too many choices to choose from:)

I think we were just too tired to walk to Ion to have our late lunch so in the end we just settled a quick lunch at Wheelock Place. The restaurant that we went into was a Japanese Pasta by Sakae Sushi Group:) Didn't really know that Sushi Group actually franchised a Japanese Pasta Restaurant:) Haha, I can't remember the name of the Restaurant:) We ordered pasta, potato salad and green tea ice-cream:) I must say the Potato Salad tastes so much better than the one served at Aston's. I'm not saying that Potato Salad at Aston's was not nice but this one tasted much better:) Green-Tea Ice-cream tasted really good:):) Sweety and Yummy for a sweet tooth like mine:);)

After our late lunch, mum and I wanted to head to Ion for another shopping spree:) Just before we left Wheelock Place, I have finally spotted this CHOCOLATE RESEARCH FACILITY:) This shop I was searching for a very long time:) I saw it being featured in our local newspaper:) The packaging is really nice and the flavours are like super duper unique:) Lemongrass, Ginger, Lychee Martini, Champagne, Green Tea, Cinnamon:) All sorts of unique flavours:):) The price is quite expensive too. One small bar costs $10. So in the end, I bought Green Tea, Lychee and Champagne:) Total: $30:) Haha, Mum paid all the money:) Yeah, now I have got unique chocolate flavours:) To know more about CHOCOLATE RESEARCH FACILITY, please go to http://www.chocolateresearchfacility.com/

After spending 15 minutes choosing chocolates, we headed down to ION:) Finally:) We went to quite a number of retail outlets:) TOPSHOP, NEWLOOK, MANGO, GUESS, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Burberry, Miu Miu, Dolce and Gabanna:) Some of this boutiques do sell Bling Bling dresses:) Good place for party-goers:):) We saw this nice winter jacket at Burberry but the price was damn expensive. It costs around $8000. Woaaa...Damn expensive:) Anyway, Burberry are very famous for their winter jacket so it's kind of expected:):) I saw this bag at Louis Vuitton costs around $1540. Mum said she wanted to buy it for me:) I declined:) Don't wanna waste her money:) My parennts will be spending a lot more on me for my Australian Studies:) Anyway, I think LV bags are a bit more matured for my age:) Also, I have fallen in love with Miu Miu bags:) They are so feminie just like Dior and Chanel:) I'm gonna own one when I have earned enough money after my graduation:)

After spending a long time at ION, we headed down to Takashimaya. Then I had this craving for Macdonald's. So we ate a set meal at Mac:) Feeling damn guilty after eating all these JUNK FOOD. Then, Mum bought Royce chocolates:) Haha, It's Royce:) My long time favourite:) I think we have bought quite a lot of Chocolates for the day:):) Confessions of a CHOCOAHOLIC:):) haha...

By the time we reached home, I think it was pretty late, around 10.50pm:):) Oh my GOD! Such a long shopping trip and a happy shopping spree:):) It feels good to go shopping with Mommy:):)

The Competitive World of Modelling

Dear Pink Bloggie

Being so hooked onto ANTM( America's Next Top Model), I went google and searched for more information. I realised that every round of this competition has a cycle. The one that I talked about was Cycle 12. It was kind of like not up to date. The latest series should be cycle 13. I'm really looking forward to watching CYCLE 13:)

Also, at the same time, Korean Supermodel, Daul Kim committed suicide in her own apartment in Paris. Apparently, she was pretty famous in the modelling industry. She has modelled clothes for leading brands like Chanel, Dries Van Noten and Alexander McQueen. For more information about her, please go to this link http://news.sg.msn.com/regional/article.aspx?cp-documentid=3713242

About my personal opinion: I think that the modelling industry is extremely competitive. At any point of time, you can be eliminated if someone who's better than you takes over all your fame and possession. It's no wonder why Daul Kim is so pressurised. The invisible pressure to stay on top. It's such a pity for her because she is just so young. She's only 20 years old. 20 years old is a time to have fun and enjoy being youthful. But she ended her life. Why is she so pessimistic??? If I were her, I would not do such a silly thing to make my loved ones mourning over me. One lesson learnt from this article is that I should face all obstacles with a positive attitude. Ending my precious life is not the key solution to solving difficulties in life. By committing suicide, Daul Kim is just trying to run away and shrug off all her problems. That's absolutely the wrong attitude. All I can say that is a person can only lives once in his entire life, treasure life:) Stay optimistic and every sorrow will be over. Always stay optimistic---My number one faith in life:):)

Just a little extra, did you know that Korea has one of the highest suicidal rates globally???? Daul Kim was a Korean girl who was born in Seoul. I feel really really sad for her.

America's Next Top Model

Dear Pink Bloggie

I have been watching America's Next Top Model for the past few weeks:) Right now, I'm so curious over who's gonna win the title of being in ELITE, the top Model Agency around the world;) I was kind of sad to see that Celia has been eliminated. She has been doing very well for the past few weeks:) I thought that she has all the qualities of being a model. She is gorgeous and she has a very good body shape. One disadvantage about Celia is that she's 25 years old. Tyra claims that she's too old for modelling. Oh my Gosh! That's age discrimination! However, speaking truthfully, 25 is a bit old for models...If you wanna become a model, you have to start at a very young age like 18 or 19...So, I really pity Celia for being criticised by the judges as old. If she were younger, I think she could have stay on in this competition:)

Now, it's the final three;) Allison, Teyona and Amina:) I really like Allison a lot cos she has this pair of big beautiful eyes:) Teyona and Amina have great bodies:) So I think the judges are gonna have a hard time deciding on who's the lucky girl to be selected to join ELITE:) Allison looks stunning in photoshoots but when it comes to runways, she lacks confidence. Although, Teyona and Amina may not look as stunning as Allison in photoshoots, they can do catwalks very confidently:) I seriously think that Allison should be more confident of herself after filming through so many episodes of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL. Tyra Bank has been a very great host. She is very experienced when it comes to modelling. No wonder she belonged to one of the SUPER MODELS like Kate Moss and Heidi Klum. She really gives lots of good advice to the contestants:);) I think I'm really looking forward to the last episode which will be shown on Channel 5 thursday, 11.00pm...who's gonna be the biggest winner??? I have checked it out:) It's Teyona:) So I guess I will just have to watch the whole procedures next week;):) Even my Fav Allison did not win, I think she is beautiful:) Teyona is hot too:) With her hot body and confidence, I'm sure she will soar to greater heights in the world of MODELLING:);)

I think I have also fall in love with Privilege recently:) 2 lovely and beautiful girls and their lovely tutor:) Sage, Rose and Megan:) Totally love every scene in the drama:) I think I am so hooked onto American Shows like the AMAZING RACE, PRIVILEGE and so on...Americanisation is always here and will forever be here:):) I just love American Variety Shows:);)

Super Junior is my latest Craze!!!;)

Dear Pink Bloggie

Since I'm so free now, I shall write something:) I have not been posting for quite a long time. Today, the topic is about Chen Yuan's latest Craze:)

I am so obessed and in love with Super Junior right now:) After watching their Variety Shows such as INTIMATE NOTE and E.H.B(Exploration of Human Body), I finally remembered all 13 names:) Haha...:) The 13 member names are Si Won, Han Kyung, Hee Chul, Ki Bum, Ye Sung, Ryeowook, Kang In, Shin Dong, Kyuhyun, Eunhyuk and Dong Hae, Lee Teuk and Sung Min. Si Won is my number one on the list:) I really like him a lot:)

Initially, Han Kyung has always been my favourite. However, I changed my preference. I think Si Won is much better:) After watching those variety shows, I realise that almost all of them are cute and handsome. Ki Bum is kawaii:) Next is Ryeowook, Dong Hae and Kyuhyun. I am just so in love with the 6 of them right now!!!:) Super Junior was first formed in 2005. I only liked them till now. That's like 4 years later???? How I wished they were my favourite boyband earlier! I seriously think that they were much better than some of the taiwanese boybands. Oops, no offence to fans of Taiwanese boybands:)

I have always wanted to buy their Sorry Sorry album. When I headed down to HMV store in City Hall, I was really disappointed to hear that their Sorry Sorry album was out of stocks:( How sad and disappointing! I guess I will just have to wait till the next stocks arrive. I totally regretted for not buying sorry sorry album when I was holidaying in Phuket. Also, Super Junior is having their concert in Shanghai this weekend:) How I wish I was there!!! I have checked out the pricings. It's like damn expensive! It's even more expensive than the highest price here in Singapore! The best seat costs around RMB $1680. That's more than S$300! Seriously, I think the Chinese are getting more and more affluent by the days. I really wanna meet Super Junior in person:) I guess I will never ever have the chance to:( How sad!

Right now, my top 2 songs on my ipod are Sorry Sorry and Super Girl:) I just love Super Junior!!!!:):):) I really hope that their music career will soar even higher!!!!:):)

Why am I always sick???

Dear Pink Bloggie

Let's track back to what had happened last saturday okay???? Rewind..... Last Saturday, I had another fun night out with all of my girlfriends:) Hazelnut milk tea tasted really yummy:) I can still remember the taste. I really wanna drink that again:) Dinner at Smith Street:) I seldom eat at street stalls so it's really a good experience for me. Sorry to all my friends cos I kept on complaining about the hot weather. Just ignore my complaints okay????:) Haha...

After dinner, we headed down to quite a few places. Clarke and then boat quay. Then, we managed to find Timbre. Next time, we shall dine and chat at Timbre okay???:):) Yeah, we managed to take a few fun shots. For the photos, I will just upload them to facebook:)

I'm so sorry for updating this late blog entry because I immediately fell sick after our gathering. I think I am so weak nowadays. I fell sick at least once in a month:( What's happening???? Luckily, I still managed to recover from my fever, flu and sore throat. I hope illness will not fall upon me again:) I'm still crazy over Super Junior. Han Geng and Siwon are my favourites. Han Geng and Si Won rocks:):)

Phuket Trip

Dear Pink Bloggie

My Phuket trip was absolutely fun and amazing:) Even though it was only a weekend trip, I enjoyed myself very much. On the night of my arrival, my parents and I checked into this four star hotel, the Royal Paradise located in the heart of Patong Beach. The room that we were assigned to was much better than I had expected. The room looked new and comfortable. It even had a balcony! Looking out from the balcony, I could actually see beautiful scenery of mountains. It was absolutely fantastic!

I must say that Patong Beach is a very happening place! There were prostitutes, gigolos, mamasan boys and lots of massage parlours. Just opposite our hotel, there was a gay bar full of lady boys. Oh my gosh! The lady boys were so much prettier than me. Jealous jealous!!! All thanks to the cosmetic surgery that they have gone through. Every night, the lady boys would actually put up a free parade to attract customers to their gay bars. How interesting!

Phuket is a place for Caucasians. Everywhere we went, we would see bunch of Caucasians hanging around. In fact, most of them were Australians! Australian dollars are going very strong lately so it is definitely a great time for the Australians to go Phuket where everything sold here is cheap and affordable:) Also, there were lots of bars at Patong beach. Nightlife at Patong is very exciting and happening:) There were prostitutes walking around, hoping to find a guy to sleep around with. It's really an eye opening for me!!!

Morning arrived and I woke up early to have a full American buffet breakfast. The food at the hotel was really great:) Everything tasted so yummy:) After breakfast, my parents and I headed down to the Patong Beach. I must say the beach was really nice. It was beautiful!!!!:) The currents were so strong as if I was gonna swept away by the strong currents! I had a fun time playing with the strong sea waves. We spent three hours at the beach. I wanted to try activities such as Jet Ski and parachute but to no avail. I really want to head back to Patong again and try out those activities. There were just so much things to do at Phuket. I have not headed down to Phi Phi island and James Bond island to try out snorkeling. If I have the chance again, I would wanna head back to Phuket with my parents again:)

After having fun at the beach, my parents and I headed back to our hotel to have a shower. After that, we headed down to the Patong Seafood Restaurant. All the seafood were sold at cheap prices. Can you believe it? One big fresh oyster costs at only $50 baht. We were too spoilt for choices! Haha:) After finishing the sumptuous meal, we walked down the Patong street. There were lots of things sold here. Can you believe it? I even saw DS, PSP, IPHONE being put up for sale. Then, I spotted this Hello Kitty shop where they sell all sorts of Hello Kitty stuff at a much cheaper price than the Sanrio shops here. I bought quite a lot of hello kitty stuff. I had a fun time choosing all those hello kitty accessories from earrings to laptop cases. The prices were damn cheap so there was no need for a bargain:)

After shopping at Patong street, we headed down to Jungceylon, the largest shopping centre at Patong beach. I saw this PAUL FRANK bag that costs at around $1450 Baht. Mum wanted to buy it for me but I declined because I thought it was quite expensive. Now, I sort of regretted for not buying it! I wonder if we have Paul Frank stores in Singapore because I have not spotted any so far! There were also Robinson Shopping Centre there. I was pretty amazed when I saw ROBINSON. I think Jungceylon is great because there is even a mini musical fountain there. After our shopping trip, we headed back to our hotel:) I thought it should be ten plus at night when we reached the lobby:)

I thought my parents and I were pretty lucky that night. We managed to meet an Uncle who has always been conducting city tours for Singaporeans. We managed to hire a private car with Chauffeur for only $1500 Baht. It so much cheaper than the normal price!!!!:) When we checked with other travel agencies, they charge more than that. So it was really a great deal!!!:) Haha!!!:)
The next morning , we then realised that the Chauffeur is related to that Uncle we have met. Both of them are Mr Koh and they were brothers!;) Hahaha!!!:) Then, Mr Koh told us that they helped tourists to book hotel rooms and other tours. Think, I can find him again the next time I head to Phuket because my parents have his name card:) Haha!!!:)

The city tour was amazing:) All sorts of activities were available. There were Go-Karting, Shooting, Paintball and elephant trekking:) I have only tried Go-Karting and elephant trekking. The next time, I wanna try out shooting and Paintball:) Haha!!!;) Then, Mr Koh drove us to the Old Phuket town for another shopping spree:) I thought the things sold at Patong was already very cheap but things sold at the Old Phuket Town was much cheaper:) I found another good place to shop around. I bought a green Beverly Hills Polo bag at only S$6, around $149 baht. Also, I managed to find a Hello Kitty Boutique where they were selling Hello Kitty clothings for youngsters like me. Oh, I can't find it in Singapore! Another fruitful shopping spree at Phuket!:) After shopping, Mr Koh drived my parents and I to the airport to catch our flight. At the airport, I spotted good food again. I tried Chester's Grill. It was yummy!!!:) Then, I also spotted Dunking Donuts!!!:) I didn't know there was Dunking Donuts at Phuket:) My Phuket trip has finally come to an end and it was time to head back to Singapore:) If I have the chance, I would definitely go Phuket again:) Good island for all sorts of activities:):)

Still awake!!!

Dear Pink Bloggie

It's 2.19 am right now:) Haha, I'm still awake:) Thanks to the swim that I had at 7.30pm! I realised that I become very energetic after exercising. It seemed that all my tiredness will wash away. Since I can't sleep right now, I shall write something on my blog. I think i begin to fall in love with blogging. I love to share my thoughts and activities with all my close friends. I do not know when I have actually liked to write. I remember during my Junior College days, I have always disliked GP essays. I hate writing long essays! But now, I wanna write as much as can. Perhaps, it's my own life and that is the reason why I love to share it with all my girlfriends:)

What I have been doing for the past few days and weeks? Well, I have been going out with friends. Ion has become my number 1 place to hang out. I have been there for three times. Still, I'm not getting sick of it because I discover new stuff each time I go there. There are lots of good food in Ion. R Burger, Japanese Casual Restaurant Watami, DIY Teppanyaki, Tako balls and the latest Katsu Don outlet( I can't remember the name!). Still, there were a lot more to try. You might wonder why I can try so much food despite going on a diet? Well, my diet plan is something like this: Breakfast and dinner-Drink shake. Lunch-Proper meal. There is definitely opportunity for me to try those good food during my lunch hours:) There are certain foods that I have the cravings for:) I have not tried marvellous cream yet! I really want to have a taste of marvellous cream by the end of this year:) I wonder if Aussie has such a wide variety of international food? I really hope so because I cannot accept myself to eat western food everyday. I will definitely get sick of it if I see western food on my dining table everyday!

That's enough about food:) If I write more about food, it will make me go hungry in the midst of the night! Let's talk about my latest craze:) Haha, I'm totally in love with Super Junior:) Super Junior was formed in 2005. It's 2009 now. I kind of regretted for not knowing them earlier. Their song, Sorry Sorry is really catchy! I really love the Sorry Sorry MV:) Then, there is the Super Junior M. I got to know them when I was in China for three months from December 2008 to Feb 2009. They had lots of events in China. I totally regretted for not turning up for their activities when they were doing their promotion during my period of stay. I love Si Won and Han Geng a lot! Super Junior rock my life! I will still follow them up even I go to Aussie next year:) If I'm in China again and it coincides with their promotion period, I will definitely attend one of their events! Hahaha....Chen Yuan is gonna crazy over Super Junior for a long period!:):)

Dinner @ West Coast Plaza

Dear Pink Bloggie

Another night out with my girlfriends yesterday. We took a cab down to West Coast Plaza because the 4 of us do not know what bus to take. Another taxi ride. It's always Jean who paid the cab fare first:)

When we reached West Coast Plaza, we searched high and low for a good restaurant. All of us were getting sick of western food so we chose the chinese food instead. There was this Prosperous Kitchen that attracted our attention. We ordered quite a number of dishes after much discussion. We ordered Mixed Vegetables, Crab meat boiled in thick broth( reminds both Hui Wen and I of the Fish Consumme at Tao's restaurant), Shanghai Fried Noodles, Fried rice and Sweet & Sour Pork. All the food tasted pretty good:) Hui Wen and Jean disliked celery but liked carrots. On the other hand, Karen and I disliked carrots but preferred Celery instead. How interesting?;) As for the Sweet and Sour Pork, it is really yummy:) Is it because I'm just too hungry? The meat is crispy on the inside and sour on the outside:) Fried rice and noodles tasted good too:)

I took quite a few unglam photos. Haha:) Please check out FB:) Karen is forever engrossed in her food. I wanted to try the coconut that Karen ordered. Maybe next time?;) She said the flesh is soft and busy drinking her coconut juice again. Jean is always cracking jokes. Both Hui Wen and I can be lame at times. Throughout the whole dinner, we chatted and laughed:) I had such a fun night:) Too bad, Bee Teng, Pris and Brenda were not with us. I wonder what had happened to our Brenda? She seldom skipped our dinner gatherings. Brenda, if you are reading this, please answer my question;)
After dinner at Prosperous Kitchen, we shopped at Nike Factory Store. Seriously, products at Nike Factory Store are just cheaper than the Nike Store:) Karen spotted a nice T-shirt selling at only around $13.00? She tried it on but it did not suit her. Such a pity! Then, we spotted this weird jacket that I wanted Jean to try on:) I think Jean and I are really noobs. Haha:) We had a hard time trying to figure out this weird jacket. Thanks to Hui wen who helped us to solve the problems:) I wanted to take a photo of this weird jacket but to no avail:)

Karen had this craving for Sashimi so we accompanied her to Cold Storage for her Sashimi:) As she was eating her Sashimi, I felt so tempted. After finishing the Sashimi, we headed down to Hawker Centre opposite West Coast Plaza to have our fried oyster and desserts;) Both Hui Wen and I wanted to eat fried carrot cake but the stall only sells fried carrot cake in the morning. What a pity:) Never mind, at least we tried the Fried Oyster( Reminds me of the drama "Corner with love" starred Luo Zhi Xiang and Barbie Hsu). Fried oyster tasted yummy and nice:) It goes well with the Chilli:) After finishing our fried oyster, we headed home:) On the bus, Jean showed me Sorry Sorry MV by Super Junior. This is the first time that I have seen Super Junior MV. At first, I'm just fine with SJ. After finish watching this MV, I think I'm beginning to like them:) Now, I'm trying to remember all 13 names. Right now, I think I only know Ki Bum and Dong Hae. 2 down, 11 more to go.
I think Hui Wen, karen and I are RANDOM GIRLS. Out of no where, we went to watch Ge Tai on our way home:) Haha:) So random!;) Frankly speaking, I don't understand Hokkien. Surprisingly, I know who is Liu Ling Ling. Haha:) Feeling hot, I bought ice cream from the ice cream uncle nearby. Ge Tai reminds me of my Childhood days in Bukit Merah:) In my opinion, Ge Tai is an unique culture of Singapore and we should preserve it:)
I had a fun night out:) Thanks to my three fun friends:) For our next gathering, we should chill out at starbucks and discuss our end of year trip to any nearby places:)

9/9/2009

Dear Pink Bloggie

I gotta post something before such a special day ends:) 090909 is definitely a special day. It means forever and ever. To those who are happily in love right now, may your love last till eternity. I just read from the news that there are lots of couples who are registering their marriage today:) To those who have just finished their registrations at the R.O.M, may your marriage last forever. As for me, I'm still single. I love staying single. To me, there is no hurry for a relationship. Will love befall upon me??? I don't think so...

I have been feeling sick for the past few days. I'm down with sore throat, headache and flu. I went to see the doctor but no further tests were conducted to determine if I'm infected with H1N1. I suppose I'm just down with common illnesses since I don't have a fever. But sometimes H1N1 can also occur even if there is no symptoms like fever. So, I am very confused right now. Was it normal flu or H1N1??? The doctor keyed in the computer system these few words " Lungs are clear". Does it mean I'm just down with common flu??? Whatever the case, I think I'm feeling much better right now after few days of hibernating:) I should be able to recover in just 2 more days:)

Chen Yuan will become healthy again soon!!!:):)

Dinner at 15 Minutes

Dear Pink Bloggie
Dinner at 15 minutes were great especially with my girlfriends:) Thanks to Brenda who introduced to us such a good place!:) Another great time with you people:) Food tasted really nice but service is not that good. We waited pretty long for our food to arrive. Is it because they don't hire enough waiters???

Menu that were given to us were really simple. There are no pictures of food on it just dish names. That's extremely simple. All the papers were like stapled together one after another? It's one of the simplest menu I have ever come across!

I wanted to order alcoholic drinks but I was having a sore throat so I changed to lime juice instead. Lime juice tasted sour and sweet. I think lime juice goes very well with those food that you can get sick of it easily;)

I ordered the Thai Basil Chicken pizza, same as Karen. Brenda and Pris ordered the Ham Pasta. Jean ordered tuna pasta. Bee Teng ordered fish and chips. Hui Wen ordered the pizza with lots of flakes on it:) I can't remeber the name of the pizza. I sort of regretted for ordering the pizza because the Ham Pasta tasted much better. Next time if I come to 15 minutes again, I will definitely order the Ham Pasta:) After a few gatherings with my girlfriends, I just realise that we have always been eating western food everytime that we met. Hey girls, can we try other food other than western???:) Let's eat Xiao Long Bao next time since Karen is having the craving for it! We chatted and laughed:) I was really enjoying myself:) I hope we can have gatherings more often before I head off to Brisbane:) Sometimes, it is really hard to orgainse one because everyone is busy. Fortunately, everyone was free on yesterday night:)

After dinner at 15 minutes, we headed to Holland Village. We wanted to try out the desserts at 2am dessert bar but it was full house on that night! How sad:( I have always wanted to try out the desserts at 2am dessert bar. Maybe next time??? I must really try that out before I go to Aussie. We have got no choice but to head to Hagen Das instead. ( NYDC was full house too.) I think Hagen Das is pretty expensive and the scoops of ice cream that they give are really small. We should have ordered one whole tub of ice cream instead of 6 scoops of ice cream. I think it is more worth it this way:) After finishing the ice cream, we headed home. How sad:( I hate to say goodbye to all my girlfriends!

After the dinner and dessert, I am feeling sinful again because I felt that I have eaten too much last night. That's alright though because this happens only once in a while. It's absolutely fine with me:) I had a great night out. Another wonderful memory to take with me to Brisabne:) I love my girlfriends:) Muckazzz to you guys!!!:)

Sore Throat!!!

Dear Pink Bloggie

Today was a bad day for me! The moment I woke up, I realise that something was definitely wrong with me. I have developed a sore throat! My throat is feeling sensational pain now. I was looking for Strepsils but it seems that Mum finished up all the Strepsils! Gosh! I had no choice but to drink lots of water. Finally, I could not bear it anymore and headed to Shop and Save to buy my strepsils. It's such a pity that the Shop and Save near my house does not sell blackcurrant flavour. Blackcurrant flavour is the only one that can numb the pain. I have got no choice but to opt for the Honey and Lemon flavour instead. Seriously, I think the Honey and Lemon flavour has got no curing effect! Now, I'm still experiencing sensational pain in my throat. I hope I can recover as soon as possible!

I have also checked my email. I have finally received a letter of eCOE from University of Queensland:) The next step is to settle my accomodation since I can only apply for a visa from 1 November onwards. I was considering between on campus accomodation and off campus accomodation. After consulting the counsellor from IDP, I decided to opt for the on-campus accomodation. The lady was really friendly when she was giving me the advice:) I think I will either choose Women's College, Grace Women's college or the last one is the International House(Co-ed). Anyway, I can choose up to three colleges so I'm definitely going to put down these 3 choices in my application form:) I really hope I can get either get a place in the Women's or Grace Women's college:)

I can't wait to go to UQ even though I will be only flying to Brisbane next year early Feb:) Haha...:)

Movie Night

Dear Pink Bloggie

From the request of Brenda and Karen, it's definitely time to update my blog:) Seriously, I think my blog is like rotting??? Haha...I have not been posting any entries since 17 August 2009.

On 30 August, I met up with all my girlfriends. I'm really happy to see all of them( Hui Wen, Karen, Jean and Brenda). I feel like we have not met for ages yah??? We went to watch Coco Before Chanel:) I think Gabriella, nicknamed as Coco led a glamorous life. She was brave to go Paris alone and settled down in a castle instead:) I think she's like damn fortunate. Not many girls at that time get to live in a castle. She had the love of both men. But her heart only belonged to Arthur, nick named as Boy. Her love life was not completed after all because Boy died in a car accident. How sad it is! She did not believe in marriage. Until the day she died, she was not married. I think the reason as to why Chanel would become famous it's because the death of Arthur numbed Coco's heart. She put all her efforts in designing just to forget the pain. Also, Coco's style of dressing is totally different from the rest of the women during her time. She hated wearing corsets and feathers on her hats. She is definitely full of charm and uniquenes:) She is lucky to have met Arthur who's willing to sponsor her. Even today, Chanel is still remained as the luxurious brand all over the world. I shall not crap about the movie anymore. It's a great movie.

I'm feeling happy because I have finally met you guys:) After the movie, we went to Pepper Lunch and talked for quite a long time. It seems that everyone is so busy with their school life. I really want a travel trip with you guys:) Can anyone please suggest to me what places you wanna go? We don't just say, we must act!!!:) Think we have to decide asap cos tickets are going out fast. Genting, Macau or any other places??? Let's do a vote okay??? I am really looking forward to our next gathering. Let's go Singapore Flyer for our next gathering!!!!:) I'm really looking forward to a travel trip with all my girlfriends!!!:)

My 20th Birthday:)

Dear Pink Bloggie

On 15 August 2009, I have finally turned 20 this year:) I have been living in this world for 20 years! Time really flies! I wanna thank Mummy for going through so much labour pain to bring me into this world:) Mum is the greatest of all!!!:)

Since this is my last birthday spent in Singapore, I have decided to spend more money on my birthday cake:) I ordered a 500g strawberry shortcake from Canele( the one that I have mentioned before) through email. The person who has always been replying my email is very friendly:) The whole packaging looked really classy and nice:) I think it is worth the money for spending $32.15 on the cake:) Strawberry shortcakeis one of their signature collections. That's why I chose to order the strawberry shortcake:)

I think my birthday celebration was pretty simple:) We ate at home by having a simple dinner. My parents have sung their birthday song for their daughter for the last time. How sad it is! After that, I made a wish and cut the cake:) Well, I must say the quality of cake at Canele is really good. Strawberry shortcake tasted yummy. The cream on top is really smooth. There are lots of fresh strawberries hidden inside the cake:) The taste is not so sweet and not so creamy. Therefore, you will never ever get sick of it. I must say it's worth the money to buy high quality of cakes and pastries from Canele:) I think that the Strawberry Shortcake really satisfied my cravings for yummy desserts:)

I'm 20 years old now. I'm a big girl now:) I must be stronger:) I must not shed tears easily because it is one of my weaknesses. One year has passed again:) How time flies!!!:) Soon, I will enter the workforce annd start a new chapter of my life:)

I am feeling sinful

Dear Pink Bloggie
I went to Jurong Point with my mum tonight:) Then I have the craving for food served at New York New York. I feel so sinful because I am not supposed to eat my dinner because calories make me gain weight. There is nothing wrong with eating at New York New York. The problem is the portion of food that are being served at New York New York is huge!!! After finishing my Latin Chicken Chop, I feel so guilty and sinful. I feel even more guilty after finishing the Sunshine Enchantment. However, Sunshine Enchantment( New Drink) tasted really good.
The combination of sweetness and sourness of fruit juices:) It seems like I have consumed a lot of calories:( I always skip my dinner for the past one month or so. That's why I feel extremely guilty after finishing this huge portion of Chicken Chop and the drink. Looks like I have to run even harder to burn off those calories. All thanks to my cravings who got the better hand of me!

After finishing this dinner filled with sinfulness, mum and I went to Fairprice for our necessities. Ben and Jerry's ice cream were having an offer so Mum bought 2 trays, each containing 3 small tubs of different flavours:) My favourite is the Chocolate Fudge Brownie:) I wonder if there is Ben and Jerry in Brisbane because there is no Ben and Jerry outlets in Auckland!( That's what I heard from a friend who is studying in Auckland.)

After finish buying those necessities, we passed by THAT BOX where they sell dangling earrings. The pair of Hello Kitty earrings caught my eye. It reminds me of the drama, My Girl. Lee Dong Hye wore a pair of Kitty earrings that is similar to this in one of the My Girl scene. I still like the drama, My Girl alot even though it was first aired in 2006. Moreover, this pair was actually from Korea:) Without hesitation, I bought this pair of pinky kitty earrings at $9.90:) The pair of earring is made of 925 silver so it definitely loses its shine after a period of time. I will have to take care of this pair of cute Kittty earrings:)

Friday night has just passed by so quickly. Soon, 15 August will arrive and it will be a special day for me:):)

Thank you girls:)

Dear Pink Bloggie

I was inventing a new drink recipe. Blend Yakult, Apple and fresh Aloe Vera well. It tasted really good. I could not taste the bitterness( I always hate) in the Aloe Vera. Healthy drink!!!:) Recommended for those who are health conscious:)

At around 6pm, Jean wants to meet me at the bus stop to pass me my early birthday present:) I am absolutely fine with not having a celebration cos I understand that you guys are busy preparing for your prelims:) Study hard okay??? Let's meet up after you guys have finished your prelims:)

After reaching home, I unwrapped the huge present:) I am very happy with my birthday gift:) This huggie shall be named as Pinky:)
Thank you Jean, Brenda, Bee Teng, Karen and Hui Wen for the Pink Huggie and badges! I love you guys, muckaz!!!!:) I really love these presents:):) This is one of the best birthday gifts that I have ever received for my 20th Birthday:):) I will definitely take the pink huggie and the unique badges with me to Brisbane. Whenever I miss you guys, I will hug my Pinky and look through photographs of me taken with you people:). Note: The photo that contains the badges is not clear due to Camera focus. I have tried my best.

Chen Yuan can't believe that she's turning 20 this coming Saturday. I feel like I'm getting old. Thinking back, this is the last birthday that I'm going to spend in Singapore with my parents and friends. For the next four years of my life, I will be spending my birthday alone in Brisbane. How sad it will be. The moment I think of this, I feel like breaking into tears:( :(. I will always remember the happy times that we guys had together. These memories will be forever locked in my mind and I will never ever forget them.

Although we have known each other in the beginning of 2007, I feel like I am more closer to you people than my Secondary School friends. Whenever I am feeling sad, you guys would always be there to console me. I feel happy whenever I am with you people:):) Sometimes, I think it is fate and destiny that have brought us together:):) I am lucky to have good friends like you guys:):) We will meet up with each other frequently okay??? Promise me that I can still be able to meet you guys up everytime I come back to Singapore for my holidays okay???

Chen Yuan don't want to lose the valuable friendship that we always had:):) My life would be incomplete without you people around me:)

Finally finished my IELTS:)

Dear Pink Bloggie

Yeah! Chen Yuan has finally finished her IELTS. I must say the whole test went smoothly. Speaking test was absolutely great because I feel pretty relaxed when talking to the examiner. The moment when I entered the room, he tried to calm me down by saying that this is just a conversation. Hence, I do not have to feel tense and nervous. The words that he said to me really gave me a lot of encouragement. In the end, the whole speaking test was just like any other typical conversation. He asks me many things on Singapore and I like it because the topics that he asked me were all too familiar to me so I just rattled on and on without knowing that time just passed by so quickly. I like his accent:) All of his pronounciation are just so accurate and precise. His British accent is just so familiar to Singaporeans like us. Therefore, I'm totally used to his accent. I'm just so used to the way that British speak. Sometimes, I just feel that British accent sounds better than American accent. Haha, is it because I have been living in Singapore for too long since we always follow the way on how British pronounce certain words? I just love the way that my examiner speaks:) Chen Yuan is obessed over British accent:) I wish I would be like my examiner, speaking so fluently with a pure British accent:)

Finished the 1st part Of IELTS:)

Dear Pink Bloggie

Haha, I finally finished my IELTS test:) But, I still need to go for the speaking test:) In actual fact, I didn't have to take the IELTS because I have already received the unconditional offer from UQ. Since I paid three hundred bucks for the test, I might just sit for IELTS and get good scores for the test. My speaking test will be held on 11 August 2009. I really hope on that day I can speak fluently and achieve good scores so as not to waste my $300 on the IELTS:):)

Blisters are such a nuisance!!!!:(

Dear Pink Bloggie

Today is such a bad day for me. Just because I didn't take care of my feet well during running, there is a huge blister growing the area near my left foot sole. At first, there was minimal pain that is pretty bearable. I thought my blister will recover if I allow the fluid inside the blister to flow out instead. Sounds disgusting though. So out of the bloom, I poked my blister and lots of colourless liquid was oozing out. It's really really disgusting!!!:( In the end, my left foot feels more painful instead when I walk. Now, I can't even walk properly. Let alone going out with my friends:( Therefore, I hate blisters because they are extremely disgusting. Blisters can be such a nuisance at times:( How I wish my blister will be able to recover soon. Ouch! It hurts!!! Can anyone help me to ease the pain??? Poor me! I have to endure this pain all by myself. Lesson learnt- Don't ever poke your blisters because it just worsens the condition of your wound!

Jean's Birthday Celebrations @Tao's

Dear Pink Bloggie
On 1st August 2009, Jean celebrated her 19th belated birthday. Hui Wen brought us to Tao's for Jean's birthday celebration. Before Hui Wen and I went to Tao's, we bought Jean's favourite chocolate banana cake from Secret Recipe. After that, we headed to Tao's. I think that Tao's is just so far away from Dhouby Ghout Mrt Station. I think Hui Wen and I walked for quite a while before reaching POMO. I wonder why the place where Tao's located is called POMO? It is such a weird name. It used to be called Paradise Centre but they changed the name to POMO. How weird is that? I still think that Paradise Centre sounds nicer than POMO:)
All thanks to Hui Wen who has brought us to such a fantastic restaurant with good service! I really like the food, the ambience and the service. The lightings are so suitable for taking pictures. The ambience is quiet and tranquil. It is a great place for friends to hang out with each other. Sometimes, I feel like it has been ages that we have not beeen seeing each other even though we have just met about 2 weeks ago. Sometimes, I feel that it is destiny that allow us to be in the same class and become really really close friends. I think all those memories that you people have created for me will be forever embedded in me. I will definitely bring these memories with me when I go to Australia next year!:) I will definitely miss you guys when I'm in UQ next year!

Also, the price of $19.80++ for a six course meal is definitely reasonable and affordable. I seriously think that Hui Wen has brought us to the right restaurant. The starter is cheesy and tasty, something that I have always loved. The bread goes well with the cheesy sauce. Even there is no sauce for the bread, it tasted yummy too. I feel like drooling when I am talking about food. I love to eat, especially when it comes to meat and exquisite stuff.

I can't believe that we actually took two hours to finish a six course lunch. We took so many pictures. I have already uploaded the photographs to Facebook! I really love those pictures that were taken at Tao's. I just love to hang out with my girl gang. It seems like we always have unstoppable conversations with each other. Also, Hui Wen and I gave Jean frog key chain and frog mug for her birthday since she loves frogs so much;)

After eating our lunch, Brenda, Me and Jean went to PS for a walk. In the end, Brenda and I bought bracelets from Mini Bits. Jean bought a Ripples pouch and clip on earrings from Mini Bits. I also bought nail polish and face mask from Etude House, the Korean cosmetic shop endorsed by Lee Min Ho from Boys Over Flowers. Finally , I got a Lee Min Ho file holder after spending an amount of $11.80. I do not know why I am still crazy over Boys Over Flowers. Lee Min Ho, Kim Hyun Joong and Kim Bum are just so hot!!! I love all three of them. I seriously think that Lee Min Ho looks like Jerry Yan, the more handsome version of Jerry Yan. I mean Jerry Yan is no longer famous in the Entertainment industry right? No offence to those fans of Jerry Yan.
After that, Jean says she has to go and join her family for dinner so me and Brenda went to Orchard Central to have a look at her Ipod touch so that she can watch Super Junior on her way to school:) Orchard Central is absolutely foreign and new to me. When we entered the mall, it was like a maize to both of us. A lot of the outlets are still not opened yet. Lots of brands that I have never ever heard before in my entire life! We still bought some stuff. Brenda bought 2 pairs of earrings wheres I bought a pair only since 3 pairs for five bucks. We were always searching for an Apple Retail Store. We thought we could not find it but we still found it in the end.
We spent quite a long time at the Apple Premium Seller's store. Brenda was hesitant about buying the Ipod Touch but I persuaded her for a very long time. I'm a fan of apple especially towards the series of Apple players like shuffle, classic and touch. That's why I tried to brainwash Brenda so that she will not be so indecisive. I bet Brenda is enjoying her ipod touch, watching all her super junior videos. Haha:) I totally love shopping with Brenda and Jean. It seems like Brendawill always give me the right advice and Jean is always bubbly and funny;) Think when they finishes her A levels, I must go shopping with them more often. Haha:) I wonder if Brenda and Jean loves to shop with me. I hope so because I really love shopping with them.
After buying Brenda's ipod touch, we took a train instead of taking Express 502 because the nearest bus stop is at Ngee Ann City that is quite far away from Orchard Central. On the train, I told Brenda that I want to go travelling with her. We are both excited over travelling. I really hope we can travel together by the end of this year before I go to Brisbane. Brenda can also visit me when I'm in Brisbane. The same invitation goes to the rest in my girl gang. Come and visit me and Xiao Hua in Brisbane okay?
I had such a fun day and I totally enjoyed myself so much. I really love my friends. They are just so fun to hang out with!!!

Dear Pink Bloggie

I have not been posting any entries ever since Hui Wen's Birthday gathering. It seems like everyone is so busy with their upcoming school semster. As for myself, I still have to wait for another half a year before I'm on my way to Australia. I could have gone there earlier. All thanks to my mum who insisted on me going to a local university. Luckily, daddy was supportive. He thinks that it is time for me to lead a more independent life instead of relying everything on themselves. I was somehow caught in between my mum and dad. Finally, mum is willing to let me go:) I had no choice but to opt for semster 1 2010.

That day, I was passing by Isetan and I saw a very nice dessert restaurant called Canele, somewhere near shaw centre. The kind of desserts they serve there is exquisitely unique and beautiful. I really want to go with my mum so that she can pay for my bill. Haha..;):) I think those who have seen this entry should check out http://www.canele.com.sg/ because the strawberry short cake looks really delicious and yummy. There are chocolates and macarons too:) I just love macarons;):) I can't wait to have a taste of everything that are being sold at Canele. I have also checked online about its review. There are both negative and positive ones. However, most people who have been there gave pretty good critics. It's worth the money:):)

Also, Ion Orchard was officially opened on 21 July 2009. I have not been there yet;) I would really love to check out this new shopping mall very soon:) I heard from others that there are lots of boutiques in Ion Orchard. I would really want to check it out for my mum because we both love shopping. Haha:):)

Hui Wen's Birthday at Essential Brew

Dear Pink Bloggie

The night in 17 July 2009 is a special and memorable night. A girl named Hui Wen is celebrating her belated 19th birthday with all of her friends. I really had so much fun with all my girls. I have always wanted to vist Essential Brew because it received good critics from the local media. I would definitely want to recommend this restaurant to those who are thinking of hanging out with their friends. The ambience is just excellent.

Their food is yummy too. I ordered the Earl's Grey Steak dinner set meal. Soup of the day is Cream of Mushroom:) One of my favourite soup. I ordered summer peach as my choice of drink. The Steak tastes nice and chewy. Summer peach is fragant too. When I took my first sip of the drink, I could taste a bit of flower scent. It is just delicious. I just love summer peach. Brenda ordered a salmon set. I also like Cranberry Lustre ordered by Brenda. It tasted sour and sweet. Bee Teng and Hui Wen both ordered Cajun Dory fish set. Karen ordered Dory Fish cream pasta. Jean ordered salmon pasta. I am amazed at the way Karen eats. She puts sooooooo much Tobasco sauce such that the cream pasta tasted very sour. She really has a very strong taste when it comes to food:)

After hanging out at Essential Brew, we were thinking of going to 2 am dessert bar. After much discussions, we went to a bar at Holland Village. Bars at Holland Village are filled with Caucasians. Is the bar called Tapas wine Bistro? I can't remember. This is my first experience at a bar and it was great. Karen ordered Archer's Peach. Brenda ordered some lime alcoholic drink. Hui Wen ordered Tequilla. As for me, I don't have the intention to order any alcoholic drinks. However, I was tempted to order one so I chose Lychee Liquor. Initially, I want to drink Lychee Martini but I couldn't find it. I only found Lychee Liquor. Brenda's drink is not that strong. I could only taste a bit of the alcohol. Karen's Archer Peach is nice because I could finally taste the alcohol content inside:) As for Hui Wen's Tequilla, it was just too strong for me. I could not stand it. As for my drink, I think Lychee Liquor is just right for me. Karen also ordred another glass of white wine, I suppose? I tasted the wine but I still prefer red wine because the taste is stronger.

I thought I will resist alcoholic drinks but I had a fun time drinking my Lychee Liquor. All thanks to my mum who trains me when I turned 18 years old. Whenever my mum drinks, she would ask me to accompany her to have a sip. The same goes to my Uncle. Whenever I was holidaying in Xi An, China, he would always ask me to have a sip of the Chinese Wine. Frankly speaking, I hated it becuse the alcohol content is just too high, even higher than Vodka. Chinese Wine such as Mao Tai can have 5o% of alcohol in it:) As time goes by, my ability to tolerate alcoholic drinks perhaps have increased:):)

If there are chances for me to enter a bar again, I would like to try funny cocktail drinks such as "Sex On the Beach" and "Singapore Sling". After hanging out at the bar, it's time to head home. I must say I was really enjoying myself on a Friday night:):)

Hanging out with Kejia:)

Dear Pink Bloggie

On 17 July 2009, it has been an absolutely fun day for me:). After staying at home for many days, I finally get the chance to go out with all my girls:) In the morning, me and Kejia went to Jurong Point for lunch. We ate Ichiban Sushi at the Japanese Food Street. The Sushi were yummy so was the Barbeque Chicken set too. We chatted all sorts of stuff from school to celebrity gossips. I was enjoying the chat because we have not been seeing each other for quite a long time. I really had a great time trying to catch up with her. After having our meals at the Ichiban Sushi restaurant, our stomachs were bloated. Time is still early so I suggested watching the movie, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

The movie is nice and entertaining. I noticed that there seemed to be more darkness filled as compared to the last five episodes. The Death Eaters were scary! Although it is entertaining, there are a few certain scenes that I don't quite understand. After talking to Hui Wen at night about Harry Potter, all my questions were answered. The reason as to why I seem puzzled is because I have stopped reading Harry Potter after season five. Hence, I am confused about a few scenes. I think it is a pity that Dumbeldore has died because he is like an umbrella to Harry Potter, shielding and guiding him throughout his encounters with Lord Voldermort. Professor Snape is so evil. He gained Dumbledore's trust and killed him in the end. How sad...

After watching movie, Kejia and I went our separate ways. She is going to attend an orientation at SMU. I am going to attend Hui Wen's Birthday gathering. I really had so much fun hanging out with all my girls. I shall write more about the gathering in my next blog post:)

Dear Pink Bloggie

I'm just so bored staying at home all day and studying IELTS test:) It's just so boring because I'm doing the same stuff all the time:( I really wanna go out and have some fun:) Just I'm feeling bored at home, I received a piece of good news from Karen ie our girl gang is gonna celebrating Hui Wen's birthday this coming friday:) I finally get the chance to eat as well as catch up with all my friends:):) I also received news from Karen that I will be taking over one of her students for tuition. I have never ever given tuition to any students so far. However, I really hope I can do a good job in coaching this new student whom I have never met before. Karen says she is easy to coach. I guess it will not be a big problem?

I have received another instant message from Xiao Hua on MSN messenger. I wonder how's she adapting to her new environment. Next year, it shall be my turn to attend those preparation classes and Orientation. I can't wait for school to start next year. I must make use of my full four months left. Maybe, I should learn driving after my IELTS test? Also, I need to read up books about the fundamentals of commerce and other related information:) I must get myself prepared before school term starts next year:) I shall not waste my second half the year 2009:):)

Double Degree???

Dear Pink Bloggie

I have heard from Xiao Hua that everyone can actually take up a double degree in UQ:) It's cool!!! Being able to have a double degree increases your competitvity and employability in the corporate world. I will be taking the Bachelor Of Commerce in UQ:) Under the accounting major, there is corporation law and other stuff. Maybe, I should take up law as a second degree? Of course, I need to meet the requirements for the double degree ie Bachelor Of Commerce/Law. If I'm not eligible for the Commerce/Law degree, I may choose Commerce/Business Management or Commerce/Economics or Commerce/Science. I think I shall find out more about double degrees when I'm in Brisbane next year. I strongly encourage Xiao Hua to take up a second degree:) I think she definitely will:) Anyway, I still wanna thank Xiao Hua for givimg me a piece of important advice. Lastly, I can't wait for school to start:)

What am I thinking???:)

Dear Pinky Bloggie,

This is my third day using my Pink Bloggie:) I spent quite a long time figuring out all those Html code:( So troublesome.. I gues I'm almost 80% done:) The last part is to add all my close friends by linking to their blogs:):) I definitely need their urls!:)

University Of Melbourne and University of New South Wales have both given me offers but I still choose University of Queensland:) I'm just so elated to receive an unconditional offer from them. School is going to start on Semster 1, year 2010:) I think I'm just so fortunate being able to go overseas and experience a different life. I know it may be hard at first because I'm a person who relies a lot on my parents. But I know that I will not be facing this alone cos I still have my close friend, Xiao Hua with me. I think we will encourage each other throughout the four years in UQ.

One thing I regret the most is that I can't accompany my friend to UQ this upcoming semster 2009. I should have registered for an Aussie Uni earlier, say March? That's alright though because I would have plenty of time to make those preparations. There are just so much things to do. Health Check-up which I feared the most. Student Visa, accomodation, booking of air tickets and arranging my arrivals:) There are just too much tasks to be compeleted.

Also, I still have to take an IELTS test which I don't have to take in the first place. No choice, I paid $300 for the test. I have to do it well and pass with flying colours:) My goal is to achieve at least an overall band of 7. If not, I will be wasting my money:) Think I will stop writing for today:) Will update again whenever I like:) hehe...:)

New to blog Part 2

This is my second day using the blog:) I'm still trying to figure out the Html stuff:) I hope my template will finish by the end of this week. There is one thing I don't understand. Why do i need the Html code just to change a blogskin? So troublesome. I really hope I can figure out this Html code really soon:):)

New to Blog

I have just registered for a blog:) I'm new to this blogging thinggy:) I realise that since I'm going to Australia in the year 2010:) It's the best thing to have a blog so as to keep in touch with my family and friends. I shall use this blog to keep them informed of my daily activities and feelings:) I'm not sure if I will blog frequently but I will try my best:)
